¡Estamos llegando al final de Junio! y hubo -casi- un post por dia todo el mes! (si, me saltee el sábado, sepan disculpar.)
Hoy les queria mostrar algo de lo que no suelo hablar tanto por acá, pero que me gusta mucho. -aunque hace un monton que no me engancho con una serie de estas-
Haciendo este post me dieron ganas de ver varias series nuevas. Veremos si puedo ponerme las pilas con las series.
We're getting to the end of june! And there was -almost- a post each day (yes, I missed saturday and I'm so sorry!)
Today I'm showing you something I've never talked about in here, but it's something I really like, even if it's been awhile since I got into one of these. And while doing this post I got really excited to see some new series, let's see if I can honestly get into some series.

Fullmetal Alchemist (2003)
Fullmetal es probablemente una de las primeras series que vi de animé, y me encanta. Es la historia de dos hermanos que pierden a su mamá y que en la obsesión de revivirla se mandan un par de mocos con la alquimia. Es muy buena, y tiene una versión más reciente que es 'Brotherhood', que es mucho más fiel al manga y por eso a todo el mundo le gusta más pero todavía no la vi.
Fullmetal is probably one of the very firsts anime series I have ever seen, and I love it. Basically, It's the story of two brothers whose mom died and in a desperate move to bring her back to life they start making crap with Alchemy. It's really good, and it also has a new version which is a better adaptation from the mangas called 'Brotherhood', and everyone liked it more but I haven't seen it yet.

Soul Eater (2008)

Medio complicada de comprender al principio, es una de las series que más me gusto pero que más me costó terminar (me pega la vagancia.) Es la historia de tres alumnos de una escuela para técnicos de armas mortales, y sus respectivas armas (que son personas capaces de convertirse en armas.) Juntos, deben lograr devorar 99 almas de humanos malvados y la de una bruja, para que sus armas reciban el título de "Guadañas de la Muerte" y puedan graduarse. Es una muy buena serie y lo bueno es que ¡en Argentina se viene la edición nacional del manga de la mano de la editorial Ovni Press!This one is a bit hard to understand at first but it's one of my favourites (also one that I found hard to finish but because i'm lazy) This is the story of three kids that are students of a school for humans with the ability to transform into weapons, as well as the wielders of those weapons. Together, they must defeat and absorb the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch so they can graduate. It's an amazing show and the good thing is that here in Argentina we're getting our national edition of the manga thanks to Ovni Press!



Ouran High School Host Club (2006)Una de las series más hermosas, graciosas y adorables que vi en la vida. Me encanta, y es una de las dos series a las que siempre vuelvo porque me encanta (la otra serie esta en esta lista más abajo.) Esta es la historia de Haru, una estudiante becada en una escuela para gente ricachona, que de casualidad termina en el club de anfitriones, donde seis muchachos entretienen a sus clientes con diferentes actividades. Haru accidentalmente rompe un florero que es más caro que toda su beca y para pagarla tiene que empezar a trabajar ahí. Lo que el resto de los chicos no saben es que ella es una mujer. Es una serie hermosa, La recomiendo muchísimo.
This is one of the cutest, funniest and lovable series I have ever seen. I love it, and it's one of the two series I see everytime I wanna see something cute (the second one is in this list below) It's the story of Haru, a scholarship student in a school full of rich kids, and she stumbles upon a room where the host club is, and accidentally breaks an antique vase that's more expensive than her whole scholarship, so she needs to pay for it and starts to work in this host club, without anyone knowing she's a girl. I really love this series, and you should watch it too!

Kuroshitsuji (2008)

Esta serie me encanta, es mucho más oscura y habla mucho sobre venganza pero es buenisima. Es la historia de Ciel, un nene millonario que, al morir sus padres hace un trato con el diablo para cobrar venganza por las cosas que le pasaron. El diablo toma forma de este sensual señor llamado Sebastian, que es ahora su mayordomo. Es una muy buena serie y es visualmente hermosa, sobre todo porque está ambientada en épocas victorianas. 
I love this one, it's darker and has a lot more of revenge and those things but it's amazing. It's the story of Ciel, a millionaire kid whose parents were killed and after a few bad things that happened to him, wants revenge. So he signs a contract with the devil, who now looks like this gorgeous dude called Sebastian, now his butler. It's really good and visually stunning, specially because it happens in a Victorian age.

Blood+ (2005)
Esta serie la seguía en la TV, todas las noches religiosamente cuando no existía netflix (?) tiene mucha sangre, muchos bichos feos y, de nuevo, un sensual guardian. Es la historia de Saya, una chica hasta ahora normal que se entera que en realidad ella es medio Chiropteran, un bicho horrendo que quiere matar a los humanos. Esa es la base de la historia. Lo que me gusta de esto es que hay dos series con la misma base, la segunda hecha por clamp, pero que a su vez no se parecen en casi nada. La segunda es Blood-C.
I was obsessed with this one on TV! I used to watch it every night before Netflix existed (?) It has a lot of blood, monsters and again, a cute guardian. It's the story of Saya, a normal girl that's not really normal because she is half chiropteran, an ugly monster that tries to kill everyone. That is kind of a base or the story. What I like about this is that there is another series with the same plot!
this second one was made by Clamp and it's called Blood-C.

Blood-C. (2011)

Como dije arriba, esta es la segunda historia con la misma base, la verdad que entre las dos mi favorita es Blood+ pero esta versión es más corta y más simple. En mi opinión es buenisimo ver las dos versiones porque tocan el mismo tema de diferentes puntos de vista. Las dos series también están conectadas por una pelicula: Blood: The last Vampire. Básicamente esta versión es el 'Que hubiese pasado si...' Es excelente. Además esta versión hecha por CLAMP, uno de los estudios más reconocidos de Japón, es lo que la hace especial para mi. Y hablando de CLAMP, ahora se vienen todas las series que amo de este estudio.
As i said before, this one has the same plot but it's quite diferent, a bit shorter and light. both stories are connected by the same movie, Blood: The Last Vampire, and this one is basically what would happen if the end of the film was different. Also, this one was made by CLAMP, one of my favourite studios, so I recommend this one highly. 

Cardcaptor Sakura (1998)
Mi primer memoria de acercarme a la cultura japonesa fue viendo esta serie. Es la historia de Sakura, una niña absolutamente común que un dia por curiosidad abre un libro del que se escapan unas cartas mágicas, y que de por lógica ahora ella tiene que volver a capturar para poder sellarlas y que no creen caos en el mundo. Con la ayuda de uno de los guardianes de las cartas, un bichito hermoso que se llama Kerberos (o Kero para los amigos) son 70 episodios, pero es hermosa. Estoy segura que muchos de ustedes la deben conocer, pero si no, tienen que verla.
My first memory of getting close to this universe was with this series. It's the story of Sakura, a kid with a pretty normal life that one day accidentaly releases a set of magical cards. Its guardian, Cerberus, chooses her to retrieve the missing cards. That's the basic plot, it's a 70 episode series but it's goooorgeous. I'm sure you all know about it but if you don't, please watch it!

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (2005)



Para mi corazón de fan esta serie/manga fue una cosa hermosa. Son los personajes que vimos en Cardcaptor Sakura pero con otra vida, otras historias y otros personajes de otras series del estudio CLAMP que se juntan acá y es un festín para los fans. Todo es color de rosa excepto que algo tenían que hacer para arruinarlo. De cualquier manera me encanta. No les quiero contar mucho porque la historia es compleja y tiene muchos personajes de otras series como xxxHolic (de la que les hablo ahora!) y otras clásicas, asi que solo les digo que si pueden, la vean, porque es muy linda.
My heart was so happy when I found this, because it has the same characters as CCS and many others from the CLAMP universe and that makes this series a whole beautiful universe for us fans. Everything is gorgeous but at some point something goes horribly wrong BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT. I love it anyway. I won't tell you more about the plot because it's a bit spoilery. but please give it a go, You'll love it.

xxxHolic (2006).
Esta es una historia que tiene muchos espíritus, creencias, y deseos. Es una serie muy filosófica y que tiene frases muy lindas que hasta hoy a veces puedo incluir en situaciones de la vida cotidiana. En la historia nos encontramos con Watanuki, un chico al que lo persiguen los espíritus. Un dia intentando escaparse de uno llega a una tienda donde se encuentra con Yuuko, La propietaria, quien le cuenta que esa tienda es una tienda de deseos, a donde claramente Watanuki no llegó por accidente. Yuuko le concede el deseo de sacarle a los espíritus de encima y Watanuki decide empezar a trabajar en la tienda para pagar su deseo. Acá comienza la serie donde se van a ver un montón de cosas re llamativas. Es hermosa desde todos los puntos de vista.
This one has a lot of spirits, beliefs and wishes. I like to think this one leaves you with some phrases that you'll remember for a long time. Here we have Watanuki, a boy that can see spirits. One day while trying to get rid of one of them he stumbles upon a shop, where its owner, Yuuko, tells him that this shop is a wishes shop, and that he's there for a reason. His wish was to get rid of the spirits and now he needs to work there to pay for it. it's an amazing story.



Code Geass (2006)En esta si, la historia NO es de Clamp pero el diseño de los personajes si lo es, asi que es medio CLAMP.
Esta serie es más política y futurista, en una nación con imperio, el hijo del emperador está lo suficientemente loco como para querer derrotar a los terroristas que asesinaron a su madre y dejó ciega a su hermana (porque su padre es tan inútil que no hace nada) de acá obviamente se desprende una venganza, un poder re loco, una flaca re linda que le da los poderes y unas locuras bizarras que sólo se le pueden ocurrir a los japoneses. Además el final de temporada de la primera temporada es el más épico que van a ver en años. Super recomendable.
This one is not fully CLAMP, they just did the art. The story is quite political and futuristic, settle in the Empire of Britannia, the Emperor's son is crzy enough to want to defeat the terrorists tha killed his mother and left his sister blind (and because his dad is useless and did nothing) So from here, starts a story full of revenge, weird powers and bizarre situations that can only be created in Japan. Also, the first Season Finale is the most epic thing you'll see in years.
