What I've seen lately #4

It's been awhile since I posted one of this, sorry! Although you might have seen my Oscar nominated reviews and also some of the documentaries i've been watching lately on #TheVeggieChat, so we're kind of updated. These are some films and series I've seen these last two months:
Pasó mucho tiempo desde que subí un post de estos, perdón! Aunque en estos últimos meses pudieron ver mi reseña de las películas nominadas al Oscar, y también algunos de los documentales que vi recientemente en #TheVeggieChat, asi que más o menos estan al dia. Acá está el resto de las películas y series que estuve viendo:

Split (Fragmentado)Directed by M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable) is definitely one of his best films so far. We get to know Kevin, a man that has 23 different personalities, which is a rare disorder and not that much people believe this exist. During the film we get to see how every personality develops until the end. I don't wanna give too much away because it's so much better to see it without knowing too much. It's such an amazing film, Shyamalan is definitely king of plot twists and that's so important now and mostly in this kind of films.
este film de M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable) es, definitivamente, uno de sus mejores films hasta la fecha. La trama nos cuenta la vida de Kevin, un hombre que convive con 23 personalidades diferentes, un desorden que es poco conocido y que tampoco es tomado en serio. Durante la pelicula vemos como se desarrolla su historia hasta el punto culmine. No les quiero contar demasiado porque es mejor verla sin tanto conocimiento. El film es excelente, Shyamalan es, en mi opinión, el rey del plot twist, y eso es muy importante en este tipo de films, super recomendable. 

Ghost in the Shell (La Vigilante del Futuro)There was so much controversy with this film, mainly because they cast a non-asian actress for the main role. But honestly I really enjoyed it! Visually it is stunning and it's also a very good adaptation. Even if we did saw asian actors inside the film I'd love to see more asian actors on important roles (ie, Death Note) I really recommend this film, is really good and the plot is excellent. 
Hubo mucha controversia con esta pelicula porque no pusieron a una actriz asiática para el rol principal pero honestamente, a mi me gustó. Visualmente me parece una obra maestra y bastante bien adaptada. A pesar de que dentro de la historia pudimos ver varios actores asiáticos, si me gustaría que se les de la importancia suficiente en los roles correspondientes. (ej: Death Note) La recomiendo, es muy linda y la trama es excelente.

Black Mirror Season 3I LOVE Black Mirror. It's definitely one of my favourite series. There's no ep that I don't enjoy 100% and even though I have a really big lack of concentration and I couldn't see it all together, I love it. This season I feel is the best one so far, not only because it's the longest one, but also because its quality keeps improving and getting so much better. Honestly if you haven't seen it yet, you're missing big time!
Black Mirror es definitivamente una de mis series favoritas. No hay episodio que no haya disfrutado al 100%, y a pesar de que tengo falta de concentración y no pude ver todas las temporadas juntas, cada vez que puedo ver un episodio, me fascina. La tercer temporada me pareció la mejor no solo por la cantidad de episodios sino por como las temporadas siguen mejorando y superándose. Honestamente, si no la vieron todavía, se están perdiendo algo groso.

Broadchurch (Season 3)I LOVE BROADCHURCH. that's my review.
No, but really. Broadchurch is, by far, my favourite series. Not only because of David Tennant who's my favourite actor of all time, but because it's an amazing story. The plot is perfect and there's no way you could guess how it ends. And this season is no different. I just love it so much. If you haven't seen Broadchurch then PLEASE go watch it. You'll love it.
AMO BROADCHURCH. Esa es mi resena.No, en serio. Broadchurch es, lejos, mi serie favorita. No solo por David Tennant, que es mi actor favorito, sino porque tiene historias increibles.  La trama siempre es excelente y no existe forma de que adivines como va a terminar. Y esta temporada no es diferente. Simplemente me encanta. Si todavia no vieron Broadchurch POR FAVOR veanla. Les va a encantar.
Beauty and the BeastFor a start, I have never seen the animated version of the movie because i've never been really interested in Disney films but this time, I  just wanted to see it because of Emma, clearly. The fact is, I really liked the film, but didn't like Emma as Belle. And i'm being completely honest, I love her, but not in this film. The whole cast though, is AMAZING. Absolutely amazing, I love it.
Para empezar, nunca vi la versión original de esta pelicula (animada) porque nunca tuve mucho interés en las películas de Disney. Esta vez la quise ver por Emma, claramente. La pelicula en si me gusto, pero Emma como Belle no me pareció la mejor opción. Y lo digo honestamente, la amo, pero no me gusto en este papel. De cualquier modo el resto del cast es excelente, super acertado, me encanto.
The White HelmetsThis documentary is this year's Oscar winner. I knew that with this documentary I was going to cry my eyes out, and yes, i did. It's less than one hour long and it made me cry so much, it shows the absolutely painful reality, that makes you feel useless. I feel like this documentary is a great way to learn about the whole situacion in Syria, I really recomend you to watch it.
Este documental es el ganador del Oscar este año. Sabía que al verlo iba a sufrir mucho, y dicho y hecho. El documental no dura más de una hora, y llore muchisimo, muestra una realidad tan dolorosa, que te hace sentir mucha impotencia. Me pareció una gran forma de informarse sobre la situación en siria y, sobre todo ahora con todo lo que está pasando me parece un excelente momento para verlo.
