Christmas Film Recommendations

When I first started thinking about doing a whole month of christmas posts and so regularly (not like Blogmas but kind of) I thought 'this would be sooo long!' but hey! we're on the 23rd of December. I actually cannot believe how fast this month left. I'm kind of excited for 2016 to finally leave us tbh. Anyways! Here are some of my favourite christmas films and also, some films I'm looking forward to seeing this christmas.
Cuando empecé a pensar en hacer un mes completo de posts navideños y tan regulares (no como blogmas pero algo similar) pensé que esto iba a ser estresante y largo, pero honestamente no puedo creer que ya estemos a 23 de diciembre. No puedo creer como este mes, y este año, pasaron de largo. Igual estoy bastante contenta de que el 2016 nos deje finalmente. Pero vayamos a lo importante! Hoy les muestro algunas de mis películas favoritas de navidad, y algunas que estoy ansiando ver esta navidad.

Love, Actually.In my opinion, there's no better film than Love, actually. Mostly for adults or those of us who are kind of tired to see animated films. This one is quite old but sooo cute! My faves in this film are my beloved Alan Rickman, and of course, Hugh Grant, one of my fave actors.
En mi opinión, no hay pelicula más maravillosa para esta época que Love, Actually. Más que nada para los adultos o para quienes ya nos cansamos de ver películas animadas de Navidad. Es una bastante viejita pero es tan tierna! Destaco a mi amado Alan Rickman, y a Hugh Grant, uno de mis actores favoritos.
The Grinch.I've got so many wonderful memories with this film! I remember seeing it at the premiere with my whole family and that's one of my most beloved memories of my childhood. Jim Carrey's role in this one is quite amazing and also, this is one of the best Dr. Seuss stories. I'm sure you've all seen this film... right?
¡Tengo tantos recuerdos lindos de esta pelicula! Me acuerdo de haber ido a la avant premiere al cine, con toda mi familia y ese es uno de los recuerdos más lindos que tengo de mi infancia. Jim Carrey hace un excelente grinch, y además esta es una de mis historias favoritas de Dr. Seuss. Quiero suponer que todos la vieron ya... ¿no? ¡¿no?!
Elf.This is one of my 'to be seen' films right now, although I'm sure I've seen it at some point. Have you seen it? I'm planning to see it on saturday! Anyways, this one is a classic for most people so I'm sure it's amazing. Let's all watch it on christmas day shall we? 
Esta es una de mis pendientes, aunque creo que la vi en algún momento de mi vida. ¿la vieron ustedes? ¡Yo estoy planeando verla el sábado! De cualquier manera, es un clásico para muchas personas asi que les recomiendo verla, ¡asi despues podemos charlar al respecto!

Home Alone / Home Alone 2.Okay now seriously. who doesn't love these films? and also, why aren't we talking about Home Alone 3? This last one has an answer and it's because IT SUCKS. Anyways! I love these films and I'm sure i'll be seeing it on christmas day as well.
Okay. Ahora hablando en serio. ¿A quien NO le gustan estas peliculas? y ¿Por que no mencionamos Home Alone 3? La ultima SI tiene una respuesta, y es que fue malisima en todos los sentidos de la palabra. Una clara muestra de que cuando una pelicula es buena, hay que dejarla mientras siga siendo buena. En fin... Amo estas peliculas, no me canso de verlas en navidad! 
Jingle All the Way.Such a classic. It's not the best xmas movie and also Schwarzenegger isn't my fave either but this story is really cute.
Un clasico de clasicos. No se si es de las mejores películas de navidad, y Schwarzenegger no es mi favorito la verdad, pero la historia es muy bonita.

The Santa Clause.I've heard so much cute things about this one but i'm sure I haven't seen it yet, so i'm planning on seeing it on christmas day as well. What do you guys think?
De esta pelicula escuché un montón de cosas lindas pero jamás llegué a verla, ¡asi que espero poder verla esta navidad! ¿Que opinan ustedes?
The Nightmare Before Christmas.Okay. Is this one a christmas film, or a Halloween film? to me, it's both. It's such a beautiful story and also one of the best Burton film. (One of my favourite directors but we're in the middle of a crisis tbh)
Polemica: ¿Es una pelicula de Halloween, o de navidad? De cualquier manera, me gusta verla en ambas fechas, me parece una hermosa historia y además de las mejores de Burton. (uno de mis directores favoritos pero estamos en una crisis (?))
The Muppets Christmas Carol.I looooove the Muppets! And this version of A Christmas Carol is one of my favourites so far, I love the way the adaptation was made and the songs are so catchy. It is now on netflix so, give it a go!
¡Amo a The Muppets! Y esta versión de A Christmas Carol es una de mis favoritas,me encanta la forma en la que la adaptaron y las canciones son super pegadizas. Esta en Netflix, ¡asi que si pueden, veanla!
