What I've Seen Lately #3

Happy Tuesday! (....what?) It has been a while since my last update on this subject, right? In october I had a few days being really sick and did nothing but lay in bed, eat, drink a lot of water and tea and just feel like a trash bag, so I decided that i wanted to be productive and at least see some films or series. I must admit that it has been quite a productive month. Thankfully I'm so much better now! Here are the things I've been watching so far:Feliz Martes! Paso bastante tiempo desde la ultima vez que les hable de esto, no? En octubre estuve bastante enferma asi que tuve varios dias de no hacer nada mas que estar en cama, tomar mucho liquido y sentirme una ameba.Asi que decidi que necesitaba ser productiva de alguna manera y al menos ver un par de películas o series. Por suerte ahora estoy muy bien! Y además tengo suficiente material para recomendarles a ustedes:

Eat, Pray, Love. (2010)
I've heard so much good stuff about this film that I was actually pretty excited to see it! And to be honest, I didn't enjoyed it. I don't really know if it was because it's two bloody hours long, or if it was too slow for the whole story but I didn't like it.Escuche muchísimas cosas buenas de esta película y estaba bastante emocionada por verla! La verdad, no me gustó. No se si es porque es dos horas y algo larga, o si es que fue demasiado lenta pero la verdad, no la puedo recomendar.

This Is The End (2013)

This one is a classic of mine, and as soon as I found it on Netflix I had to watch it again. It's plot is not the best, but if you're used to this kind of films, I'm sure you'll love it! Plus, there's a whole bunch of famous peeps, Including Emma Watson and Rihanna!Esta es un clásico para mi. Y apenas vi que la habían agregado en Netflix, tenía que verla. La trama no es la mejor, pero si están acostumbrados a este tipo de films, seguramente la van a disfrutar. Además, van a ver un montón de gente famosa como Emma Watson y Rihanna!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

If you're regular on my blog, You'll know that this film is one of my absolute faves of all time. Fun fact: In 1975 this film was so bad, it was almost a box office failure, but suddenly it became a cult film and people used to meet at some theaters to watch it and recreate the scenes. I really love this film, it's so bad, it's actually good! In september I went to see the Argentinian version at the Maipo Theater, and told you all about it on this post! Please give it a look !Si me leen seguido, sabrán que este film es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos. Fun fact: en 1975 este film resultó tan malo que fue casi un fracaso de taquilla. Pero aparentemente en algún lado hubo gente que la disfruto mucho y comenzaron a hacer reuniones en teatros para ver la película y recrear escenas, convirtiéndola en una película de culto. Para mi es tan mala que la hace muy buena! En septiembre tuve la oportunidad de ver la versión Argentina de la obra en el Teatro Maipo, y les conte todo en este post! Si les gusta la película, denle una mirada a esto :)

Westworld (2016)
This is a new HBO series I started these last weeks because a friend recommended it to me. And so far it's good! But I'm not really sure what the plot is about because it's a bit confusing, but it's good. I hope it gets better soon!Esta es una nueva serie de HBO que comencé a ver hace unas semanas porque un amigo me la recomendó. Y hasta ahora me gusta bastante! La trama es un poco confusa todavía pero es buena, espero que vaya mejorando aún más pronto!

Making a Murderer (2015)Almost everyone (for real) were recommending this series last year, so I decided to start it now (late as usual). It is amazing! Now, if your sense of justice and coherence gets heavy with the news everyday, then with this, you'll be really mad. It's amazing how you can get inside the story. Amazing documentary.
Casi todo el mundo (REAL) recomendaba esta serie el año pasado, entonces decidí empezarla (tarde para no perder la costumbre) ¡Y es muy buena! Eso si, si tu sentido de coherencia y justicia se altera con las noticias todos los días, la vas a pasar un poquito mal. Es increible como uno se mete en la historia. Muy buen documental.

All work, all play (2015)At some point I told you guys that part of my job includes getting to know a bit of E-sports, and because i'm used to it I found this documentary and decided to watch it. It explains quite well how's the whole E-sports world and the amount of people in this movement. If you've ever been curious about this subject, this is a good way to learn!
En algún momento les conté que parte de mi trabajo incluye conocer un poco de Esports, y por la costumbre cuando vi este documental en Netflix tenia que verlo. Explica bastante bien como se vive el mundo de Esports y la cantidad de gente incluida en la movida. Si en algún momento tuvieron curiosidad sobre el tema, esta es una buena forma de informarse!

American Horror StoryI've been wanting to see this series for a long time but I had the feeling of not enjoying the horror bit. But now the story is different and I enjoy the whole horror stuff so I decided to give it a go. In almost two weeks (work and studying included) I watched four seasons and I'm on track with Roanoke. I haven't seen Hotel yet but as soon as Roanoke finishes I'm diving straight in. My favourite seasons are Murder House and Roanoke, the rest I just felt them like not that horror-y so it's almost it's like it doesn't make honor to the name. But it's quite good!Hace bastante quería empezarla, pero tenía la sensación de que no la iba a soportar porque no me gustaba mucho la idea de cosas de terror (?) Pero ahora que la historia es diferente me metí de lleno a verla y casi en dos semanas (con días de trabajo e instituto incluido) terminé de ver cuatro temporadas. La unica temporada que no vi hasta ahora es Hotel, y estoy al dia con Roanoke. La verdad, hasta ahora mis favoritas son Murder House y Roanoke. Las del medio me parecieron bastante simples y sin horror, osea que no le hacían honor al nombre. Pero dentro de todo me gustó bastante.

Nerve (2016)Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything about this film. but it's actually a good film! The plot isn't the most original but it works. Emma Roberts and Dave Franco are players of a 24-hour game called Nerve where they have to do 'dares' chosen by the audience. It's a good one to watch with friends!
Honestamente no esperaba nada de esta película, pero es buena! La trama no es la más original pero funciona. Emma Roberts y Dave Franco son jugadores de  un juego de 24 horas que se llama Nerve, donde tienen que cumplir retos que les da la audiencia. Es una buena película para ver con amigos!

While We're Young (2015)I love Ben Stiller's work, he's one of my favourite actors and this film has been on my list for a while now. It's a nice story, and has a good timing, it's not boring, and it doesn't have unnecessary scenes. Also if you're a vintage lover you have a feast here. Oh! And Kylo Ren is a hipster here. 
Me encanta Ben Stiller, es uno de mis actores favoritos y esta película estaba en mi lista hace bastante. Es una linda historia, concisa, y lo que más me gustó es que dura lo justo y necesario. En ningún momento sentí que tuviese relleno o situaciones que podrían haberse recortado. Además, si les gusta ver cosas vintage, es un festín visual. Ah! Y Kylo Ren es hipster. Se las vendí bien, no?

The Way Steve Jobs Has Changed The World.I've been wanting to see a Steve Jobs documentary for a long time and this one seemed to be a good one to start with (It's just 45 minute long) As the title reads, this documentary isn't a biopic, but just a story about the stuff he did to change the world (ie, apple) how it was born, etc. It's pretty interesting!
Quería ver algún documental sobre Steve Jobs hace bastante, y este documental me pareció bueno para empezar (dura 45 minutos nomás.) Como dice el título, el documental es solo sobre la obra de Jobs que cambió al mundo (IE, apple) como nació apple, etc. No es una biopic, es bastante interesante.
