¿Que Estuve viendo? #2

Helloooo! A month ago I published my first list of films I saw those days, maybe as a recommendation or to open a debate, to see if we like the same kind of stuff (no really but...) It wasn't the most popular post but I really enjoyed writing it so here's another one!

¡Hola! Hace un mes publicaba mi primer listado de películas que vi en estos días, quizás como una forma de recomendación o para abrir un debate (?) a ver si tenemos gustos similares. No fue el post más popular, pero la verdad que disfruto mucho hablar de cine, ¡asi que acá vamos de nuevo!

Hush (2016)

A few years ago if someone wanted me to see a horror film I was ready to die or have a panic attack, but now I kinda started to like the genre and actually found some really good films in the whole universe of super-cliché stories. Hush is one of the good ones! I loved the plot, it wasn't cliché, and I was actually scared and really interested in it, I highly recommend it! (it IS in netflix!)

 Hace un par de años si me ponian peliculas de terror me iba a morir de un infarto, pero me enganche con el género y la verdad que, asi como hay películas malísimas, hay algunas muy buenas! Hush es una de las buenas. Me gustó que la trama no fuese la misma de todas las peliculas del genero, y que básicamente de principio a fin no sabemos qué va a pasar. Realmente me tuvo super enganchada de principio a fin, y se las recomiendo mucho! La pueden encontrar en Netflix como Silencio.

Annabelle (2014)

I was really excited to see this film. I knew it was something like a prequel for The Conjuring so I was expecting something good. It's not that bad... but it's really repetitive. the effects were kinda good, and I might see the second part (which is due to next year apparently) but not with too much expectatives.

Venía bastante ilusionada con esta película, sabiendo que era como una especie de precuela de The Conjuring me esperaba algo mejor. No es mala, pero la verdad que me pareció muy repetitiva. Los efectos fueron bastante buenos y probablemente vería la segunda parte (Que supuestamente sale el año que viene) pero sin tantas expectativas.

Poltergeist (2015)

Okay so, I was really excited to see this one, because I've heard the original version (1982) was really good, but this one is highly bad. I got bored, it wasn't exciting, it wasn't scary, but we had a laugh. So here are two points for it.

Okay. Acá yo venía entusiasmada, porque escuché que la versión original de 1982 es muy buena, pero definitivamente esta versión fue malisima. No me atrapó, no me asustó ni me llamó la atención en lo más mínimo. De cualquier forma le doy puntos por haberme hecho reir.

Across The Universe (2007)

Esta es una de mis películas favoritas de todos los tiempos. Es un musical con canciones de The Beatles, la historia esta centrada en personajes e historias de sus canciones y todo se relaciona con todo. Si no la vieron, por favor veanla! Es hermosa.

Now You See Me (2013) / Now You See Me 2 (2016)

I saw the first one because the second one looked really good. I absolutely loved it! It is truly the first movie I've seen this year that's worth five stars. The story is super interesting, and is full of plot twists, I couldn't believe it. However, every reviewer said the second one wasn't that good, but I really enjoyed it! A strong four stars actually. Please do yourself a big favour and check these two films! 

 Esta es, definitivamente, la primera película a la que le doy cinco estrellas en lo que va del año. La vi sin muchas expectativas pero me enganchó muchísimo. Es una historia super llamativa y lo mejor de todo es que no tenes idea en que va a terminar. Me encantó! Aún asi cada persona que habló de la segunda parte dijo que no era tan buena, pero a mi me gustó bastante! Háganse un favor y vean las dos, son mis nuevas favoritas.

Suicide Squad (2016)

I'll give a big applause to DCs advertisement team because they gave all the hype to this film, and we were actually really excited and full on fangirling for this one. It wasn't that good. I'm not a DC fan so it's not like I was mad at it. I liked it, it wasn't meeting my expectations. I think a big part of the plot is missing and hey, where were all of the joker scenes? My favourite people from the cast were Will Smith and Margot Robbie. Back to the Joker, I didn't like that much Jared's joker.  Although I would really like to see it again and make a full review on it. 

Quiero darle un aplauso fuerte al equipo de relaciones públicas de DC porque la forma en la que dieron a conocer la película me creó muchísimas expectativas. La película en si no superó mis expectativas, pero no es mala. Yo creo que le falta mucha historia, hay muchas cosas que no me terminaron de cerrar. El cast me encantó! Will Smith y Margot Robbie especialmente. El joker de Jared me llamó muchísimo la atención pero no estoy segura de que haya sido lo suficientemente bueno para la historia (Heath Ledger 4ever amor) La quiero ver de nuevo y rearmar mi opinión. Ya les voy a contar como sale.

Black Mirror:

This one was recommended to me by my friends, workmates and people in general so I had to see it. It's really good! Every episode tells a different story, it's just three per season and every story will leave you thinking. So far i've seen the first season and I loved it. As soon as I have time I'll binge watching the next seasons.

Esta fue una de las recomendadas por mis amigos, conocidos y compañeros de trabajo asi que tuve que verla. Es buenisima! Los capítulos son autoconclusivos, son tres por temporada y cada uno tiene una historia que te va a dejar pensando. Hasta ahora vi solo la primer temporada y me encantó. Apenas tenga tiempo voy a ver el resto de los episodios!

Stranger Things:

I'm always late for cool stuff and that's why I saw Stranger Things now that the hype is kind of gone. I really liked it! If you guys are somehow like me and are always late for cool stuff, do watch it now. One of the best things about it, after the plot, is that it doesn't have filling chapters. It just the right amount of episodes and I think that's a great thing. Also, 80s/90s vibes, love it.

Yo siempre llego a las cosas cool tarde, por eso vi stranger things cuando se pasó todo el hype de la gente y la verdad que me gustó muchísimo! Si ustedes como yo llegan tarde a las cosas populares, es momento que la vean. Destaco que lo mejor de la serie, ademas de la trama, es el hecho de que no tiene relleno. La cantidad de episodios es justa y necesaria y me parece que se disfruta asi. Además, 80s/90s vibes, me encanta.
