¿Que estuve viendo? Films & Series

I love films. I'm one of those people who could live inside a Cinema if my time and my wallet allowed me to. Sadly, both things are making kind of impossible this romance these last weeks, and sometimes I'm too tired to even open Netflix.

These last weeks I've made some time to see some movies with friends or family and I'm intending to see more movies, more often. Let's see how it goes! In the meantime, here's a small review of some movies i've seen recently (Plus, an Anime! It's been so long since i've seen one)
I'm thinking on starting to write more small movie and series reviews. Would you like to see it? What else would you like to read here?

Me encanta el cine. Soy de las que viviría yendo al cine si mi tiempo y mi bolsillo me lo permitieran, lamentablemente ambas cosas se ponen en contra de nuestro amor últimamente, y además a veces el cansancio me gana hasta cuando quiero abrir Netflix. Estas últimas semanas me hice tiempo para ver algunas películas ya sea con mi familia (que a veces se nos da por ver películas juntos) o con amigos, y tengo la intención de ver más películas, más seguido. Vamos a ver como sale! Mientras tanto, acá les traigo un rejunte de las películas que vi recientemente. (Además, un Anime! hace taaanto que no veía uno!)
Tengo muchas ganas de empezar a escribir pequeñas reseñas o recomendaciones de Películas y Series, ¿Les gustaria verlas? ¿Que otras cosas les gustaría leer acá?

Horns (2013)

I wanted to see this film for a long time but I've always scrolled past it, don't know why (It's been on my Netflix list for a loooong time!) To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from it, mostly because sometimes I found it on the thriller, horror section and sometimes in the comedy section. What can you possibly expect from that? I liked it, though. It was pretty good! CGI might not be the best part of it, but Little Dan's Horns are really good. I think there's the whole budget of the film.

Esta película la quería ver hace bastante pero por motivos desconocidos la dejaba pasar (esta sentada en mi lista de Netflix hace muuucho tiempo) La verdad, después de ver los trailers mucho no esperaba de ella, sobre todo cuando a veces la ves en la sección de drama, horror y terror y otras la encontras como comedia. ¿Que podes esperar? Pero me gustó mucho, los efectos quizás no son los mejores pero los cuernos de Danielito son buenos. Ahí dejaron todo el presupuesto de la película seguramente!

Naomi & Eli's No Kiss List (2015)

This was a recommendation from a friend, a long time ago. Based on the things she told me, I thought it was quite 'meh'. And I wasn't wrong, it is quite 'meh' but it's a short one (like an hour and something) and it's cute. I have to admit I shed a few tears at some point. I think it's cute, nice, pretty simple but nice. If you're looking for a film to watch when you're painting your nails or so, this is the one.

Esta me la recomendó una amiga hace bastante tiempo, pero por lo que me contó no me parecía la gran cosa. La verdad que no me equivoqué: No es la gran cosa. Pero es una película corta y bonita. Tengo que admitir que se me cayeron unas lágrimas en algunos momentos. Me pareció linda, sencilla, pero linda. Como esas películas de Canal de Aire un domingo a la tarde - Ustedes me entienden!

Pride, Prejudice & Zombies (2016)

I've read this book before and I loved it! I love how battles and ninjas and Japanese/Chinese culture can mix into a love story like Pride and Prejudice so well. Besides, the cast is SO interesting: Suki Waterhouse keeps surprising me with her acting skills, even if she had very few lines. Lena Headey and Lily James are stunning. and of course, there's Matt Smith... If you're a whovian, you'll love his version of Mr. Collins. It reminded me so much to his Doctor! 

Leí el libro antes, y lo amé. Me encanta la mezcla de batallas en el centro de una historia tan linda como lo es Orgullo y Prejuicio. Además, el cast es MUY interesante: Suki Waterhouse es todo (aunque tiene muy pocas líneas), Lena Headey y Lily James se destacan muchísimo, y Matt Smith... Si hay algún whovian leyendo, el personaje de Matt Smith es maravilloso, me recordó muchísimo al Doctor ♥

The Age of Adaline (2015)

I didn't plan to watch this one, but I loved it. Blake Lively as Adaline is just beautiful, she's such an amazing actress! It's a very special film, you don't get bored at all and every scene has something important to the story, it's so well done. Plus, if you like a good love story, this is the one. I highly recommend this one!

No tenía pensado verla, pero me encantó. Blake Lively es una increíble actriz y lleva el personaje de Adaline de una manera hermosa. Es un film super especial, no aburre en ningún momento y esta perfectamente editada. Todas las escenas están por una razón, y el romance es maravilloso. Les recomiendo mucho que vean esta película!

Begin Again (2014)

This one is definitely one of my favourite films. I've seen it again recently and I still think it's beautiful. From the story, music, places, to the cast, everything is amazing. I love to point out that the main thing in this film is music, not love, not fights, nothing but music (It's not a musical, though!). Are these enough reasons to watch it? no? Well, Adam Levine is in it. Now go watch it!

Esta es probablemente una de mis películas favoritas, definitivamente. La volví a ver recientemente y me sigue pareciendo hermosa, desde la historia, la música, los paisajes, el cast, todo es increíble. Me gusta recalcar que la escencia de esta película es la música, y no el romance o las peleas y creo que eso la hace maravillosa (Ojo, no es un musical!). ¿Hace falta decir más? Ah, si, Adam Levine trabaja en este film. Ya se las vendí completamente!

Anime: Nanatsu No Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) 2014

I've started this one a few days ago and I'm still watching it, it's really good! Basically, It's the story of a group of people that were falsely accused of plotting against the king of Britannia, and were defeated by the Holy Knights who, a few years later, staged a coup d'etat and captured the King and his family. And the only people who can fight them is, apparently, The Seven deadly Sins. It looks a bit difficult to explain, but it's a fun series, and every episode lasts less than half an hour, so it's twice as fun!

Bueno, esta serie la empecé a ver hace poco, todavía no la terminé ¡pero es muy buena! La historia es de un grupo de personas que fueron acusadas injustamente de querer derrocar al rey de Britania, y que fueron derrotados por los caballeros sagrados, quienes después organizan un golpe de estado y toman prisionero al rey y su familia. Y los únicos que pueden hacerles frente son, precisamente, los siete pecados capitales. Parece complicado, pero es entretenida, y los episodios son cortos asi que se pasa rapidito.
