January Favourites! -Art edition-

Are we really at the end of January now? Really!? i can't believe it's been a whole month of the new year and i'm still trying to get used to write 2016, oh god.

The good news, my blogging schedule this month has been on point and i'm proud of myself! I've updated one and sometimes two times a week! And we're growing so fast, it makes me really happy! I love reading all your comments and also finding new blogs to follow :)

So, as many blogs have their beauty & Fashion 'Monthly favourites' i've decided that i wanna do that too, but in my Monthly faves you'll find what i love and understand the most: Art.

You'll find this posts from today, every last day of the month, and i'll tell you about the books, series, films, records and art stuff i've been loving during the month.

¿En serio se terminó Enero ya? POSTA!?!? Parece mentira, pero ya pasó un mes del 2016 y yo acá, sin entender nada todavía. (?) PERO, me enorgullezco en decir que durante enero me mantuve actualizando el blog una (y hasta dos!) veces por semana. Lo cual es genial! Me encanta leer sus comentarios y también encontrar nuevos blogs para seguir :)

Así como muchos blogs tienen su sección de 'favoritos del mes' relacionado a moda y belleza, yo quiero hacer mi sección relacionada a lo que más me gusta y entiendo: Arte. 

Este tipo de posts van a encontrarlos a partir de hoy, el ultimo día de cada mes y les voy a contar sobre los libros que leí, las películas, series o documentales que vi, los discos o bandas que escuché, asi también como museos o exposiciones (probablemente)

BOOKS:

This is the Second book in a series of twelve. (YES TWELVE OH GOD)

Last year i had the chance to find the first book in the series and i LOVED it. This book was a gift listed on my Christmas Book Haul and i need to tell you guys i enjoyed it sooo much! The story is super quick and Locke's writing is amazing. You MUST read this series! (If you want, i can do a good, long review about this whole series!)

Este es el segundo libro en una serie de doce (si, doce!) 

El año pasado tuve la suerte de descubrir el primer libro y lo amé. Este fue un regalo que listé en mi Book Haul de Navidad y tengo que confesar que lo disfruté muchisimo. La historia es super ligera y la escritura de John Locke es increible. ¡TIENEN que leer esta serie! (Si quieren les hago una reseña bien amplia sobre esto!)

Or as i got used to call it, ACOTAR. This is my very first Sarah J. Maas read and i must say i loved it! I'm not usually a Fantasy reader but this book got me really intrigued. Aparently we'll have the second book of this series this May! 

O, como ya me acostumbré a decirle, ACOTAR. Este fue el primer libro que leo de Sarah J. Maas y tengo que admitir que me encantó! No soy una lectora del genero Fantastico pero esta historia me mantuvo intrigada hasta el final. Aparentemente tendremos el segundo libro de la serie en Mayo!

I've said this a million times: I wish i had this book on my teenage years. In this book, Youtube star Carrie Hope Fletcher (ItsWayPastMyBedtime) talks about her life experiences and gives advice to the younger people on body issues, friendship, bullies, sexuality, depression and other important stuff. I've found this book really interesting and helpful, even if i'm now an adult, i still loved it. I can't recommend this book to you enough. This was my audiobook choice of this month and i found it really cool! it's narrated by Carrie herself and her voice is lovely.

Dije esto un millón de veces: Ojalá hubiese tenido este libro durante mi adolescencia. En él, la Youtuber Carrie Hope Fletcher (ItsWayPastMyBedtime) Habla sobre sus experiencias de vida y da consejos para quienes estan pasando por los problemas de la adolescencia, tales como los fisicos, las amistades, el Bullying, la sexualidad, la depresión y otros tópicos importantes. Encontré este libro super interesante y de mucha ayuda. Aunque soy 'adulta' (entre muchas comillas) me encantó y encontré en él muchas cosas que me hicieron pensar. No puedo dejar de recomendarles que lo lean! Además, elegi escuchar el audiobook que esta narrado por la misma Carrie y su voz es encantadora.

I think i've read this book like seven times in three months. I just love it! it's such a fun read, their way of telling their own stories makes you laugh out loud all the time.

Danisnotonfire & AmazingPhil are my favourite youtubers ever and of course, i got the book (And audiobook) as soon as i could. #Trash

Creo que leí este libro como siete veces en tres meses. Me encanta! Es una lectura divertidisima, la forma que tienen de contar sus propias historias te hace reir muchisimo todo el tiempo. Danisnotonfire & AmazingPhil son mis youtubers favoritos y, obviamente, compré el libro (y el Audiobook) apenas pude. Siempre que no se que leer lo agarro y me rio un rato. Vale la pena. #Trash.

This was my pick for my Reading Challenge this month! This is the second time i've tried to read this book and i'm proud to say i've finished and liked it a lot! I know this one is a favourite for most of the people but i just gave 3.5 stars out of 5 on goodreads. It was good, but not the best.

Este fue el libro que elegí para mi Reading Challenge de Enero! Es la segunda vez que intento leer Orgullo y Prejuicio, y me enorgullece decir que esta vez lo terminé y lo disfruté bastante! Sé que este libro es el favorito de muchas personas pero yo solamente le di 3.5 de 5 estrellas en Goodreads. Me gustó pero no senti que fuera de lo mejor.

SERIES:

Actually, it was just a Special, not christmas (?) As it was aired on January 1st i guess.... I really liked it! It blew my mind, the whole 'Inception' thing, it was pretty cool. It's not enough tho, we have to wait until 2017 now! Moffaaaaaattt.......

En realidad, fue un especial nomas, nada de navidad (?) Porque fue emitido el 1ro de Enero creo.... Me gustó mucho! Me impresionó todo el tipo 'Inception' del episodio, fue muy bueno. No es suficiente igual, tenemos que esperar hasta el 2017 ahora! Moffaaaaaaaattt.....

I took a Movie break this month, to sort out every single movie i'd like to see this year, apart from the old ones i need to see. I'll be spending february inside a movie theatre!

Me tomé un descanso de films este mes y me dediqué a revisar todos los estrenos de este año, y acomodar las peliculas viejas que tengo que ver. Voy a pasarme febrero dentro de una sala de cine!
